Job Description:

Upbring is searching for a curious and motivated social media and digital content manager to take our digital presence to the next level by expanding our reach and impact through compelling writing and engaging multimedia content that shares our brand story.

Reporting to the director of public relations and communications, the social media and digital content manager will lead the production of storytelling across digital platforms. This position is an ideal fit for a high-energy, driven, detail-oriented communicator who thrives in social media and exploring digital trends.

Candidate Qualities:

This person will be encouraging and have an inclusive attitude to other team members and colleagues. Highly adaptive to the rapidly changing landscape of social media. Self-driven and energized about both creating and executing new ideas and projects. Ability to prioritize projects and manage competing deadlines in a fast-past environment.

They will be highly organized, with experience coordinating multiple projects at once. Maintain “always on” work flexibility to handle communication needs outside of typical business hours. Committed to quickly learn about Upbring’s programs and the child-wellbeing space 

Candidate Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to the role4 years post-graduation job experience in communications, journalism, marketing, or public relations.
  • A proven track record in community management and growing social followings. Ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications and presentation skills. Ability to write quickly and self-edit to produce high-quality content.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with frequently changing requirements and deadlines.
  • Strong people and interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and in a team (group) environment and the ability to work and interact with diverse groups of people at all levels in the organization.
  • Basic photography and video filming skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite with the ability to create visual content for social media posts without assistance.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and thorough understanding of search engines and SEO.
  • Working knowledge of writing digital engagement strategies paid digital advertising and new/emerging technologies
