Why be a Pro Mentor?

Pro-Am Day offers a unique opportunity to impact the future generation of PR professionals! Your dedicated time will help prepare students for their career path and to achieve their professional goals. It is a great opportunity to give students an outside perspective from one of many experienced public relations professionals in Austin. You would be sharing your knowledge, skills and expertise with a mentee, providing them with a fresh perspective on their profession.

Looking for interns? This is also the perfect opportunity to meet ambitious students who will soon be entering the work force. Don’t miss out on this excellent platform to share your work and influence the future of our profession. And the best part? It is a small commitment of time on your behalf—only half a day to make a huge impact.

Next Steps: Become a Pro-Am Day Mentor. To get started, fill out this form to sign up to host a student on November 1, 2019. Our Committee will follow-up with details and your placement before the date. Participation as a Pro-Mentor will be confirmed by our Committee via email with instructions for next steps.
